Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks Field Service Technicians to join our national team. You will install cutting-edge smart home technology, assess customer homes, and sell upgraded solutions to enhance security and convenience.

As the face of Vivint, you’ll combine technical expertise with strong people skills, enjoy a 4/10 schedule, and receive paid training, tools, a company vehicle, and competitive pay with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C, insurance or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements per applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education: Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: Benefiting from coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
