Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to join our nationwide team. You will install cutting-edge smart home technology, assess customer homes, and upsell upgrades on-site to deliver total peace of mind.

We provide a take-home vehicle, flexible 4/10 schedule (including Saturdays), comprehensive training, and ongoing coaching. You will build relationships with customers, demonstrate products, and grow within a leading smart home company.

Qualifications

• We hire for attitude and train for skill.
• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers and act with integrity.
• Technical backgrounds in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar are helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative sales: evaluating homes to recommend and sell upgrades on-site.
• Customer education: training homeowners on using their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: coaching and leadership development to advance within the national organization.
