Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology across the United States. You’ll be the face of Vivint, combining technical expertise with consultative sales to upgrade systems and protect customers’ homes.

The role offers competitive hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, paid training, a take-home company vehicle, and a 4/10 schedule with Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass post-offer background checks and licensing requirements.
• Customer-focused sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Train homeowners on how to use their new system for protection.
• Grow within the national organization through coaching and leadership development.
