Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home devices at customer sites nationwide, combining technical work with consultative selling to upgrade solutions and provide peace of mind.

This role offers a base hourly pay with uncapped commissions, paid training, a take-home company vehicle and gas card, a 4/10 schedule, and a benefits package. Safety and customer-focused service are emphasized in a national team.

Qualifications

• Sales mindset with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer-first attitude with integrity and rapport-building ability.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Train homeowners on how to use the new system to protect their families.
• Receive coaching and leadership development to advance within the organization.
