Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service smart home technology while proactively identifying upgrade opportunities. You’ll be the face of Vivint, installing security cameras, smart locks and home automation on-site.

We hire for attitude and provide comprehensive training, with a take-home company vehicle and gas card, a 4/10 schedule, and ongoing coaching to advance within our national organization.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer-first attitude and ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical aptitude in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative sales: evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer education: training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
