Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Field Service Technician/Professional to install cutting-edge smart home technology and proactively identify and sell upgraded solutions, delivering total peace of mind to customers. As the face of Vivint, you will service homes, evaluate needs, and educate customers while enjoying a take-home vehicle, provided tools, and ongoing coaching.

This role offers a 4/10 schedule with Saturdays, plus holidays, PTO, 401(k) match, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to pass post-offer background/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
Growth: coaching and leadership training to move up within the national organization.
