Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot smart home systems while guiding customers through upgrades and new products. You will perform on-site installations and engage customers with a consultative sales approach to enhance home security and automation.

The role blends technical work with sales, offering paid training, a take-home company vehicle and gas card, and a 4/10 work week.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements per applicable law.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative sales: evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer education: training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: benefiting from coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
