Job summary

Vivint is hiring field service technicians to install, service, and troubleshoot smart home systems and security devices for customers across the United States. You will assess homes, present upgrades, and educate customers to ensure confident use of the technology.

The role emphasizes a sales mindset, customer-first attitude, and technical aptitude, with paid training, a company vehicle, and a 4/10 workweek. Eligibility includes a valid license and safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education: Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: Coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
