Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install smart home technology and proactively upsell upgrades. You will be the face of Vivint, traveling to customer homes to install equipment and protect households with cutting-edge security and automation solutions.

The role combines technical service with consultative sales, offering training, coaching, and growth opportunities within a national organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical familiarity with home security, automation, or smart devices is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, locks, and home automation.
• Evaluate homes to recommend upgrades and on-site service enhancements.
• Train homeowners on using the new system for protection and peace of mind.
• Pursue coaching and leadership development within the national organization.
