Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks Field Service Technician/Professional to install smart home tech, assess customer needs on-site, and upsell upgrade solutions for total peace of mind. You will travel to appointments with a take-home company vehicle and gas card, receive comprehensive training, and participate in a 4/10 schedule with Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales or service-based sales is a strong advantage.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Educate customers on using their new system to protect their families.
• Pursue coaching and leadership development to advance within the national organization.
