Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install and service cutting-edge smart home technology while identifying upgrade opportunities on-site. You’ll work with clients, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with a focus on consultative sales.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C or service-based sales is a strong plus.
• Customer-first attitude with ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical aptitude for home security/installations and smart-home tech.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record; background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home devices on customer sites.
• Conduct on-site assessments and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate customers on system use for optimal protection and satisfaction.
• Grow professionally through coaching and leadership development in the national organization.
