Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home devices, while also identifying upgrade opportunities with customers at their homes. The role blends technical installation with on-site sales conversations to deliver complete home protection and automation.

The position offers a company vehicle, comprehensive training, and a path for advancement within a national team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to successfully pass post‑offer background screening and licensing requirements.
Experience in sales or customer‑facing roles is a plus.
Comfort with physical requirements and field work.

Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Consultative sales: evaluating homes and selling upgrades on‑site.
Educating customers on system operation to maximize safety and value.
