Job summary

Vivint is seeking Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home technology at customer homes nationwide. The role blends technical installation with consultative sales, helping customers upgrade equipment and services while delivering peace of mind and a smarter home experience.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail or B2C is a strong advantage.
• Customer-first attitude with ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical aptitude in installation or service roles is helpful but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record; able to pass background screening and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home devices.
• Consultative Sales: Assess customer homes and upsell upgrades on-site.
• Customer Education: Instruct customers on system usage for protection and convenience.
