Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is hiring Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home gear while identifying upgrade opportunities. You will be the face of Vivint, providing turnkey solutions in customers' homes nationwide.

The role blends technical work with consultative sales, requiring a customer-first approach, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks. A take-home company vehicle and a 4/10 work week are offered.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset: experience in retail, B2C sales, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer First Attitude: act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude: experience in install fields is helpful but not required.
• Requirements: a valid driver's license and a good driving record; pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting smart home devices in customer homes.
• Consultative sales to evaluate homes and sell upgrades on-site.
• Educate customers on using new systems to protect their families.
• Grow within the national organization through coaching and leadership training.
