Job summary

Vivint Smart Home in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install, service, and troubleshoot cutting-edge smart home technology while identifying opportunities to upgrade solutions on-site.

You’ll be the face of Vivint, earning a base hourly wage plus uncapped commission with comprehensive training and a take-home vehicle. This role blends technical work with sales, multi-tasking between installations and customer consultations.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset: Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer First Attitude: Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative sales: evaluating homes to upsell upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer education: training homeowners on how to use the system to protect their families.
• Growth: coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.
