Job summary

Vivint is seeking Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home technology, while proactively identifying upgrades to enhance customer security and peace of mind. You will be the face of Vivint, combining technical expertise with consultative sales on site.

The role offers paid training, a company vehicle with a gas card, and a 4/10 work schedule. Benefits include holidays, PTO, 401(k) with match, and an employee stock program.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record; ability to pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements per applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Benefiting from consistent coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
