Job summary

Vivint is hiring a Field Service Professional to install smart home technology and proactively upsell upgraded solutions, acting as the face of a national brand. The role blends technical work with on-site consultative sales, customer education, and ongoing development within a large, nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a good driving record; ability to pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements per applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education: Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: Benefiting from consistent coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
