Job summary

Siemens is offering a Building Automation Systems Project Management Internship in the Hartford area. This 10-week full-time internship for rising seniors provides exposure to project management across smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.

Start dates in 2027 include May 17, May 24, June 7, or June 14, with 40 hours per week and rotation through multiple departments at the Cromwell CT office. Interns will learn about scheduling, procurement, cost reviews, and close-out documentation

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student, rising senior in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish a project delivery plan.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule, and coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation needs.
• Manage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Participate in project cost reviews.
• Track labor resources and project progress.
• Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
• Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
• Rotate through other departments within the branch office to learn about how the branch operates.
