Sentara Health Plans in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Sales Executive for Small Group to develop and manage broker relationships and drive new sales and renewals. The role requires collaboration with Marketing, Underwriting, and Customer Service to meet growth targets.

The ideal candidate has 4 years of health plan sales experience, an Associate's degree (or 4 years of related work) and will obtain required licenses within 90 days. This is a full-time on-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Sales Health Plan experience.
• Relevant sales and customer relations experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow broker relationships within assigned territories.
• Drive Small Group new sales and renewal activities to achieve profitable business results.
• Serve as a trusted resource and consultant to brokers, employers, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Underwriting, and Customer Service, to support broker and client needs.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and growth strategies.
• Maintain strong communication throughout the sales and renewal lifecycle.
• Consistently achieve or exceed assigned performance metrics and business objectives.
