Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Remote Sales Executive, Small Group, responsible for managing Small Group new sales and renewals with assigned brokers in Virginia. You will cultivate broker relationships, drive growth, and collaborate with Marketing, Underwriting, and Customer Service to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.

Required education includes an Associate's degree with 2 years of related experience, or a HS diploma with 4 years of related experience; 4 years of Health Plan sales

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience required, or HS degree with 4 years of related experience.
• 4 years of Sales Health Plan experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow broker relationships within assigned territories.
• Drive Small Group new sales and renewal activities to achieve profitable business results.
• Serve as a trusted resource and consultant to brokers, employers, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Underwriting, and Customer Service, to support broker and client needs.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and growth strategies.
• Maintain strong communication throughout the sales and renewal lifecycle.
• Consistently achieve or exceed assigned performance metrics and business objectives.
