Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Remote Sales Executive, Small Group, to manage broker relationships and drive new sales and renewals in the Virginia market. This role requires effective communication with brokers and employers, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while traveling as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 4 years of health-plan sales experience, an Associate's degree (or HS with experience), and the drive to meet growth targets.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Sales Health Plan experience (required).
• Bachelor's degree not required if experience meets criteria; Associate's or HS path with relevant experience accepted.
• Must obtain L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow broker relationships within assigned territories.
• Drive Small Group new sales and renewal activities to achieve profitable business results.
• Serve as a trusted resource and consultant to brokers, employers, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support broker and client needs.
• Monitor industry trends and identify new business opportunities and growth strategies.
• Maintain strong communication throughout the sales and renewal lifecycle.
• Consistently achieve or exceed assigned performance metrics and business objectives.
