Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is seeking a Remote Sales Executive for Small Group in Virginia. You will cultivate and manage broker relationships, drive new sales and renewals, and serve as a trusted advisor to brokers, employers, and key stakeholders.

Role requires effective communication with decision-makers in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with Marketing, Underwriting, and Customer Service to meet defined sales, retention, and growth goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 2+ years sales/health plan experience, or high school diploma with 4+ years related experience.
• 4 years of Health Plan sales experience required.
• Must obtain L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow broker relationships within assigned territories.
• Drive Small Group new sales and renewal activities to achieve profitable results.
• Serve as a trusted resource to brokers, employers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Underwriting, and Customer Service to support broker and client needs.
• Monitor industry trends to identify new growth opportunities.
• Maintain clear communication throughout the sales and renewal lifecycle.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales and growth targets.
