Job summary

Cable One is seeking aRetention Business Account Representative to work with existing business customers in Mississippi. You will retain, renew, and expand customer relationships by addressing concerns and showcasing relevant services.

The role emphasizes patient, consultative selling and collaboration with other teams. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (AA preferred) and prior sales or telecom experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred.
• Experience in telecommunications is a plus; sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and patient, persistent selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Retain customers who call to reduce or cancel services.
• Renew contracts and maintain a base of existing business customers.
• Follow up with subscribers to answer questions and assist.
• Identify reasons for dissatisfaction and provide prompt resolution.
• Upsell Sparklight products (digital, HSD, phone) to existing customers.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer concerns.
• Take on additional duties to support company values and goals.
