Job summary

Cable One is hiring a Retention Business Account Representative to manage and renew contracts for existing business customers subscribing to voice and broadband services. You will use problem‑solving to retain customers and help them continue their services with Sparklight products.

The role emphasizes calm, patient interactions, upselling opportunities, and collaboration with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction while supporting our community goals and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• Candidate should stay calm and patient with frustrated customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, renew contracts and maintain a base of existing business customers who subscribe to voice and broadband services.
• Use problem‑solving techniques to retain customers contacting support to reduce or cancel services.
• Connect with current customers to help them renew contracts.
• Upsell Sparklight products to existing business customers (digital, HSD, phone).
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer questions or concerns.
