Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Retention Business Account Representative to develop and renew contracts with existing business customers who subscribe to our voice and broadband services. You will use problem-solving skills to retain customers and upsell Sparklight products while collaborating with other departments to resolve concerns.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, patience with frustrated customers, and delivering service with expertise and empathy.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
Prior sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, renew contracts, and maintain a base of existing business customers.
Use problem-solving techniques to retain customers who call to reduce or cancel services.
Connect with current customers and help them renew their contracts.
Follow up with subscribers to answer questions or confirm assistance.
Identify reasons for dissatisfaction and provide prompt resolution to retain customers.
Upsell Sparklight products (digital, HSD, and phone) to existing business customers.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer questions or concerns.
