Job summary

Comparion Insurance Agency is seeking a Commercial Insurance Specialist to prospect, develop, and manage a book of small commercial business. You will consult with prospects and policyholders to recommend coverage and quotes from multiple carriers, aiming for growth and long-term relationships.

The role involves building referral networks in the Northeast, maintaining knowledge of carrier appetite and underwriting guidelines, and delivering excellent client service in a fast-paced, high-volume

Qualifications

• Experience with small commercial products: BOP, GL, property, commercial auto, WC, cyber and umbrellas.
• Active prospecting for new business and driving top-of-funnel leads.
• Experience using agency management systems and comparative raters.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop new small commercial accounts from various channels.
• Counsel prospects and policyholders on protection and coverage needs.
• Prepare quotes and proposals using multiple carriers and rating platforms.
• Meet goals for new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a top-tier customer experience.
• Build referral streams with regional agents and COI partners.
• Provide timely service for endorsements, cancellations, audits and claims liaison.
