Job summary

Comparion Insurance Agency in the Northeast region seeks a Commercial Insurance Specialist to prospect, quote, and place small commercial accounts with multiple carriers. You will consult with clients to tailor BOP, general liability, property, and other coverages, building trust and generating new business through referrals.

You will manage a book of business, collaborate with carriers, and support policy placement and renewals, while meeting production targets and maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Familiarity with small commercial products: BOP, GL, property, auto, workers’ comp, cyber, umbrella and surety/bonds.
• Experience networking and driving top-of-funnel leads from multiple sources.
• Experience using agency management systems, comparative raters.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop new small commercial accounts through prospecting, referrals, networking and inbound leads.
• Counsel prospects on protection and coverage and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and present quotes by obtaining quotes from multiple carriers using rating platforms.
• Meet goals for volume of new business and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Build relationships with referring agents to generate COI/lead streams.
• Provide timely service for endorsements, cancellations, audits, and claims liaison.
• Stay current on carrier appetite and industry trends.
