Midland States Bank seeks a Small Business Market Manager to drive acquisition, retention, and growth of small business banking customers across assigned branch markets.

You will build pipelines through outside sales, networking, and community engagement, delivering tailored financial solutions while expanding product utilization and maintaining strong client relationships. Travel for training and due diligence is expected; a competitive Total Rewards package is offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance/related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of direct sales experience in banking or financial services.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and loan applications using underwriting criteria.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and cultivate relationships with small business clients through proactive outside sales and community engagement.
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective business clients via referrals, cold calling, and local events.
• Deliver comprehensive banking solutions including deposits, lines of credit, owner-occupied real estate lending, and treasury management referrals.
• Open and manage new accounts and initiate credit applications per procedures.
• Analyze financial information to assess borrower needs and support sound credit decisions.
• Manage loan portfolios and minimize delinquencies through effective collection efforts.
