Position Overview: At FBinsure we are committed to a client-centric approach. As a Small Business Account Manager, you are more than an insurance agent to our clients. You are an advocate, insurance educator and expert communicator. As a Small Business Account Manager, you will help our clients navigate the complex and oftentimes confusing world of commercial insurance. Insurance can be a maze for small business owners who are already stretched thin, making an advocate who can effectively translate complex insurance coverage topics, recommend actionable solutions and support them at the time of a claim so critical. It will be your responsibility to work with clients to ensure they are getting the best value and coverages for their business needs and budget.

Work Arrangement This is a full time, remote position for candidates residing in MA.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Educate clients, research claims issues, troubleshoot problems, prepare client applications, and collaborate with the client to ensure accuracy and submit information to insurance carriers.
  • Process account changes, policy transfers, and the creation of new policies through established procedures and technical workflows.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of client policies and activities through established processes.
  • Navigate various sources of information, gather necessary data and input data into appropriate systems.
  • Prepare insurance renewals and ensure the sales team has this information needed for client meetings.
  • Cross-sell various products to existing clients to round out accounts.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience
  • Obtainment and maintenance of State of Massachusetts Property & Casualty insurance license
  • EPIC system experience preferred but not required
  • Time management skills - ability to prioritize and manage your time appropriately is key to fast-paced insurance transactions and relations with business decision-makers
  • Teamwork skills - working in a collaborative environment with efficient communication ensures a smooth client experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
