About the Role:
The Associate Account Executive will be responsible for developing new clients and managing existing clients within a specific market segment. You’ll be the primary owner of services growth and renewals, owning client relationships and customer satisfaction to drive client growth and retention for ListEngage. As an Associate Account Executive, you will be a trusted advisor to your clients, increasing the value of services delivered to their organization. The role’s success is measured by higher client satisfaction, retention, and expansion of ListEngage business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- New Account Development and Revenue Growth:
- Develop new accounts, manage sales cycles with leads/prospects
- Provide sales quotes, respond to RFPs, including SOW and Change Orders
- Manage growth pipeline, CRM opportunities, updates, and forecasts
- Existing Account Growth and Renewals:
- Manage a portfolio of ~$2MM annual revenue
- Develop relationships to drive renewals, increase revenue, and improve customer satisfaction
- Identify new business opportunities within current accounts and new lines of business
- Drive retention and growth by understanding client needs and helping them succeed
- Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular communication to ensure satisfaction and contract renewal
- Develop account plans with stakeholder mapping, solutions footprint, and opportunity tracking
- Articulate how client challenges are identified and resolved
- Partnership and Internal Collaboration:
- Build trusted partnerships with client stakeholders
- Partner with internal teams on service improvements based on client feedback
- Interface with Services Delivery teams to monitor project health and mitigate risks
- Strategic Input and Relationship Management:
- Contribute to strategic decisions affecting client engagements
- Manage relationships with Salesforce sales teams
- Balance responsibilities across Sales and Services Delivery
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years supporting clients in account management, sales, or customer success roles
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and CRM (preferred)
- Salesforce certifications (preferred)
- Experience in services (systems integrator, consulting, staffing) preferred
- Proven ability to work with clients and internal teams to deliver platform solutions
- Experience motivating technical and production teams
- Comfortable developing proposals and presenting to various team sizes

- Resolve escalated issues by coordinating with relevant teams
- Deep knowledge of services and use cases to meet client expectations
- Strategic thinker with experience owning client engagements and identifying expansion opportunities
- Problem-solving skills, inquisitive and comfortable with complexity
