Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, determine therapy needs, and develop treatment plans in line with physician orders and facility policies.

You will supervise CFY Speech Clinical Fellows and students, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, and participate in care conferences. You will also provide training to staff and ensure compliant documentation and infection control in the therapy area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Master’s/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
• CPR certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY and students in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, families, and staff.
• Complete timely documentation per policy.
• Educate residents and families on home programs and safety.
