Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients at the Rivergate Campus. The position emphasizes cognitive care services with direct employment and a generous benefits package.

Ideal candidates hold an MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure. New grads welcomed; CPR certification required by hire and kept current.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY; must obtain/maintain ASHA credentialing.
• State licensure active and in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaises with patients, families, and departments to plan for patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and follow policies.
• Establish and modify realistic, measurable goals for patient care.
• Chart appropriately and timely; utilize therapy software.
