Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehabilitation in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians, in alignment with all laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Requirements include an accredited MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, active state licensure, CPR, and a willingness to work with a diverse patient population. New grads welcome; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS/MA SLP).
• ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for CFY; maintain credentialing.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license required.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify goals that are realistic, measurable, timely, and functional.
• (SLP CCCs) oversee and evaluate care given by SLP CFYs.
• (SLP CFY) follow treatment plans under supervising SLP CCC and guidelines.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance; work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Life Care’s policies and code of conduct.
