Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

Required MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, active state licensure, and ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility. CPR certification on hire; new grads welcome. One year experience preferred, strong teamwork, and patient care focus.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA CCCs eligible or CCCs
• Active state license in good standing
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation
• New grads welcome; 1 year experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic patient goals
• Oversee CFYs if SLP CCC
• Follow speech therapy treatment plans under supervising SLP
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software accurately
• Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients
• Communicate in an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
