Job summary

Sage Event Management Inc. is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team serving residents in a skilled nursing facility setting in Texas.

The role focuses on evaluating swallowing and cognitive deficits, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering skilled therapy with emphasis on patient independence. The ideal candidate holds an active Texas SLP license, with preferred experience in SNF/long-term care and familiarity with Net Health

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Assist residents to improve cognition or swallowing.
• Educate residents and caregivers.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide AAC systems for expressive/language disorders.
• Train clients, families, and other professionals.
• Coordinate diagnostic swallowing procedures as ordered by physician.
• Demonstrate current SLP standards of practice.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Respond to family requests promptly.
• Coordinate with Restorative Nursing and care staff.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality of patient information.
