Job summary

Sienna Nursing & Rehabilitation in Texas is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house team of professionals delivering person-centered care. You will evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide AAC solutions, educate residents and caregivers, and coordinate with other clinicians to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence.
• Provide AAC systems for expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Educate residents and caregivers; coordinate with other professionals as needed.
• Coordinate and provide training with other staff and document outcomes.
• Provide accurate and timely billing records and supporting clinical documentation.
• Comply with confidentiality and legal requirements.
