Hireology is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team in Texas. The role supports residents with person-centered care, focusing on cognition and swallowing goals.

Both full-time and PRN options are available, with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and 401(k). Qualifications

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Assist residents in improving cognition or swallowing.
• Provide education for residents and caregivers.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase independence.
• Provide AAC systems for expressive/language disorders.
• Offer training to clients, families, caregivers, and professionals.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.
• Demonstrate competency with current Speech Therapy standards.
• Communicate changes in resident condition.
• Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
• Respond to family requests and concerns promptly.
• Coordinate training with Restorative Nursing and care staff.
• Ensure resident safety and confidentiality.
• Comply with legal and professional requirements.
