National Nursing & Rehab in El Paso, TX is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate residents, improve cognition or swallowing, and provide skilled therapy with individualized plans. You will educate residents and caregivers, implement AAC systems, and coordinate with physicians for diagnostic procedures.

Strong licensing and experience in long-term care are preferred. The role offers competitive benefits and a supportive corporate environment.

Competenze

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• In good standing with regulatory boards.
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology treatment practices.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities.

Mansioni

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Help residents achieve goals in cognition or swallowing.
• Educate residents and caregivers.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide AAC systems for severe expressive/language disorders.
• Offer training to clients, families, and care staff as a subject-matter expert.
• Coordinate diagnostic swallowing procedures as ordered by physician.
• Demonstrate competence with current Speech Therapy standards of practice.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition.
• Provide accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
• Respond to family requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Restorative Nursing and other staff.
• Ensure resident safety and confidentiality; comply with laws.
