Job summary

Silver Tree Nursing is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas to join our in-house rehab team. You will evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide AAC solutions while educating residents and caregivers.

The role requires an active Texas license and ASHA certification, with in-house rehab and flexible schedules; new grads are welcome to apply and compensation remains competitive.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide AAC systems for severe language disorders.
• Educate residents, caregivers and staff.
• Coordinate with other professionals for swallowing procedures.
• Maintain accurate billing and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident’s condition.
