Job summary

Stoney Point Healthcare Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a skilled Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with physicians and the health team.

You will supervise CFY or student clinicians, provide in-services for staff, maintain compliant documentation, and uphold infection control to ensure a safe rehabilitation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY or student clinicians.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per regulations.
• Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Educate residents and families on home programs.
• Ensure infection control and safe treatment environment.
