Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services in Los Angeles seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility setting. You will evaluate and treat patients, document progress, and collaborate with physicians and the rehab team to optimize communication, swallowing, and cognitive outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of SNF rehab experience, CCC or CA license, and strong documentation and teaching skills to support families and staff in therapy programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology evaluation and treatment.
• Ability to supervise and direct assistants and aides.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment programs to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Document services in medical records and communicate with families and physicians.
• Supervise Clinical Fellow and other SLPs in patient care and related activities.
• Develop treatment plans, obtain physician approvals, and use appropriate evaluation tools.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in conferences and training.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and billing documentation requirements.
