Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Las Vegas is seeking a Slot Department Supervisor to oversee slot service personnel, ensure the security and accountability of slot funds, and enforce policies and procedures in line with gaming regulations.

You will supervise staff, resolve customer disputes, perform minor device repairs, complete required forms, and maintain accurate records while coordinating schedules and key controls on the casino floor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 3+ years of gaming experience with a concentration in slots.
• 2+ years of related management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, instruct, and evaluate slot service personnel during assigned shift.
• Respond to and resolve customer disputes/complaints.
• Perform minor repairs to gaming devices (clearing jams, resetting machines, verifying jackpots).
• Accurately complete written department forms and records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and implement work schedules in response to business demands.
• Maintain secure key controls at all times.
• Develop, apply, and maintain a friendly, courteous rapport with customers and employees.
• Effectively communicate by two-way radio.
• Other duties as assigned.
