Fairmount Park, Inc. is seeking a Slot Operations Leader to oversee all slot attendants and daily slot activities. You will assist slot management in all aspects of the slot department and ensure smooth guest service.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced casino environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must be able to organize, delegate, and follow through on multiple projects.
• Two to three years in slot operations or another casino leadership role.
• Working knowledge of slot management systems and Microsoft Office products.

Job Description

Oversee all slot attendants and day-to-day slot operations, assist slot management in all aspects of the slot department.

Responsibilities

• Mentor team members to provide superior guest service
• Oversee all aspects of the slot operations while on duty
• Support Slot Attendants
• Respond to guest correspondence, in-house projects, and departmental dealings with regulatory bodies
• Troubleshoot and solve slot-related issues independently
• Train and develop Slot team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
• Two to three years in slot operations or another casino leadership role
• Excellent communication skills required
• Must be able to organize, delegate, and follow through on any number of different projects
• Working knowledge and experience with slot management systems and Microsoft Suite products
• Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holiday

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds and occasionally required to move up to 500 pounds with assistance
• Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead
• Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machines

Work Environment

May be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Base Pay Range

$50,000 - $55,000

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
