Job summary

Fairmount Park Casino & Racing in Norfolk, VA seeks a Casino Attendant to provide player services and support slot operations. You will assist with jackpots, card issuance, and slot machine upkeep, while upholding guest service standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years of age, and the ability to obtain a gaming license. 3–6 months of related experience preferred; training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Three to six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides casino player services to ensure entertainment experiences meet guest expectations.
• Assists with payment of slot machine jackpots and ticket fills; repairs minor slot machine malfunctions.
• Assists with making players’ cards and notifies technicians for malfunctioning machines.
• Responds to guest issues and complaints in a courteous manner; adheres to guest service standards.
• Solicits and processes new slot club members into the rewards program.
• Maintains cleanliness of the casino floor and Heart of House; performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to work in a noisy environment Base Pay Range: 17.00 This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
