Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Chicago seeks an experienced Slot Operations Manager to lead all slot operations, including game rollout, maintenance, and performance. You will enforce policies, train staff, and collaborate on ROI analyses for slot purchases within a dynamic casino environment.

The role requires 5+ years in slot operations leadership, strict regulatory knowledge, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Senior leadership will support growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older (required).
• Experience with scheduling and budgeting in a casino environment (required).
• Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (required).
• Strong organizational, planning and supervisory skills are required (required).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board (required).
• Must have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations (required).
• Must have knowledge of all casino game rules (required).
• High school or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred (required).
• Must have five years of experience in slot operations, particularly in a leadership role (required).

Responsibilities:

• Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
• Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
• Manage all aspects of slot operations, including new game rollout, maintenance, performance, and overall appearance
• Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
• Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
• Communicate and work closely with the Director, vendors, suppliers, and team members to execute large-scale slot projects, such as machine moves, equipment installations, and equipment upgrades
• Collaborate with the Director to develop and provide a complete ROI analysis when recommending new slot purchases or upgrades
• Remain current with the latest slot industry developments and trends
• Monitor team performance as needed based on competition, property goals, and end-user feedback
• Represent the department at all official functions and company events, including committee and staff meetings
• Develop and maintain a welcoming, safe, professional, and friendly work environment
• Oversee the overall integrity of slot games
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation

• Target Salary: $80,000

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move or push equipment weighing up to 500 pounds.
• Frequently push, pull, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, twist, reach overhead, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Requires visual acuity, peripheral awareness, and manual dexterity to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain slot equipment.
• Works in a fast-paced casino environment with exposure to bright lights, loud noise, and high-pressure situations.
