Job summary

Jamul Casino is seeking a Slot Supervisor to oversee designated shift operations on the casino floor and lead a team in the Slots department. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences while aligning with Jamul Casino’s Service Commitment.

The role requires supervising staff, scheduling coordination, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Strong communication and TiPS certification are essential, with flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; and a minimum of one-year experience in Slot Operations; or two years customer service management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and knowledge of Slot operating systems.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Must have knowledge of Slot Operations.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, as business needs dictate.
• Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to guests and team members.
• Supervise staff and daily management of a designated shift in the Slots department.
• Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
• Support and promote superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
• Provide authorizing/verifying signature for jackpot payments when applicable.
• Work with Shift Managers to implement strategies for customer service, comping, and revenue growth.
• Share responsibility for engagement of all team members with Managers and address feedback or concerns.
• Assist with maintenance and processing of all paperwork, logs, schedules, and communications for Slots.
• Maintain integrity of daily Slot operations and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with daily operations and confidentiality.
• Meet grooming and appearance requirements.
• Qualifications and certifications management as required.
