Job summary

Jamul Casino is seeking a Slot Supervisor to oversee designated shift operations on the casino floor and lead the Slots team in delivering excellent guest service. You will ensure compliance with procedures, manage scheduling, and support revenue growth initiatives while maintaining Jamul Casino’s Service Commitment.

The role requires at least 1 year in Slot Operations or 2 years in customer service management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and slot systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; minimum one year in Slot Operations or two years in customer service management.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with slot operating systems is preferred.
• Ability to interact with guests and staff diplomatically and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to write reports and business communications; present information to groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to guests and team members.
• Supervise staff and manage daily slot operations on a designated shift.
• Coordinate scheduling with management to address guest satisfaction and shift needs.
• Promote and uphold Jamul Casino’s Service Commitment and standards.
• Authorize/verify jackpot payments per established procedures.
• Collaborate with Shift Managers to implement strategies for customer service, comping, and revenue growth.
• Handle team feedback, complaints, and performance discussions with management guidance.
• Maintain records, logs, schedules, and communications for the Slots department.
• Ensure daily slot operations integrity and regulatory compliance; report issues as needed.
• Meet grooming, appearance requirements, and TiPS certification as applicable.
