Job summary

Inn of the Mountain Gods is seeking a Slot Shift Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of the slot floor during assigned shifts. You will supervise Slot Floor Attendants, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold gaming regulations.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to respond quickly to guest needs while maintaining casino integrity and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Internet Explorer usage.
• Strong organizational and oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete attendance reports.
• Monitor staff performance and adherence to casino policies and Internal Control System.
• Prepare weekly schedules for Slot Floor Attendants.
• Train and evaluate all Slot Department Floor attendants.
• Maintain awareness of floor activity and protect slot bankroll and casino integrity.
• Act as host and explain slot machine details to team members and customers.
• Assist in developing and implementing Slot Department policies and procedures.
• Ensure currency transaction reporting paperwork complies with Title 31.
• Settle customer disputes on the slot floor or refer to Lead Supervisor/Slot Manager.
• Supervise removal of funds from slot machines and perform/verify transactions as needed.
• Report technical problems to Slot Technicians and adhere to policies.
• Other duties as assigned; obtain and maintain a gaming license.
