Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled Slitter Operator to set up and run manual and automatic slitters, following safety rules and work instructions. You will maintain records, troubleshoot, and support continuous improvement projects while ensuring product quality.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math skills, data entry.
• Ability to read gauges and meters.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and perform safety inspections; document findings.
• Instruct trainees in all phases of slitter operation and record keeping.
• Read gauges, meters, and measurements; enter data into SAP.
• Assist with equipment change-over and splices; participate in improvements.
