Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and run manual and automatic slitters and associated lines. You will follow safety rules, maintain records, perform inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

The role requires attention to detail, dexterity, and the ability to read gauges, manage material as well as data in SAP. This on-site position offers benefits and a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math, and data entry.
• Ability to read gauges and meters and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and document results; initiate repairs as needed.
• Instruct trainees in slitter operation and record keeping.
• Read measurements and record output on required documents or PC.
